You may use this website only for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not:

  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.
  • Attempt to interfere with website operation or security.
  • Upload malware, harmful code or unauthorized content.
  • Copy or misuse website content without permission.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the website.
  • Impersonate another individual or organization.
11

Pricing

Estimates and Service Pricing

Website pricing, calendar pricing and telephone estimates are provided for guidance unless expressly confirmed as a final written quote.

Final pricing may depend on factors including:

  • The volume, weight and type of material.
  • Labour and time required.
  • Stairs, elevators, parking or restricted access.
  • Disassembly or special handling requirements.
  • Disposal, recycling or transfer-station fees.
  • Distance, scheduling and service location.
  • Previously undisclosed items or site conditions.

Where practical, the customer will be informed of the final price or any material adjustment before work begins. Additional work requested after approval may result in additional charges.

12

Scheduling

Bookings, Access and Cancellations

A submitted form does not guarantee an appointment. A booking is confirmed only after Garage Guys accepts the request and provides confirmation.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate service and contact information.
  • Ensuring safe and legal access to the property.
  • Obtaining required building, parking or elevator permission.
  • Identifying items that must not be removed.
  • Disclosing hazardous, unusually heavy or restricted materials.
  • Being present or providing authorized access.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible. Garage Guys may apply a cancellation, travel or missed-appointment fee when a confirmed booking is cancelled late or access is unavailable.

Garage Guys may reschedule or cancel a service due to weather, unsafe conditions, equipment problems, staffing issues or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

13

Restricted Materials

Items We May Refuse to Remove

Garage Guys may refuse any item that is unsafe, illegal, hazardous or outside the agreed service scope. Restricted items may include:

  • Asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing material.
  • Biohazardous or medical waste.
  • Explosives, ammunition or weapons.
  • Fuel, propane, chemicals, pesticides or solvents.
  • Unknown liquids or hazardous substances.
  • Items exceeding safe lifting or transportation limits.
  • Materials requiring specialized permits or disposal.

The customer must disclose potentially hazardous items before the appointment.

14

Transactions

Payments, Deposits and Refunds

Payment is due according to the estimate, invoice or booking terms provided to the customer. Accepted payment methods may be shown during booking or on the invoice.

Deposits may be required for certain services, large projects, special disposal arrangements or floor-coating work. Deposit refundability will be stated before payment.

Refund requests are considered based on the circumstances, work completed, disposal fees incurred, materials ordered and the applicable booking terms. Completed and approved services are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

15

Property and Ownership

Customer Authorization

By identifying an item for removal, the customer confirms that they own the item or are legally authorized to have it removed. Once items are loaded and removed, Garage Guys may recycle, donate, transfer or dispose of them.

Garage Guys is not responsible for the removal of items that the customer or an authorized representative identified for removal. Customers should inspect the work area before the crew leaves.

16

Risk

Limitation of Liability

Garage Guys will use reasonable care while performing services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garage Guys will not be liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or unsafe property conditions.
  • Damage caused by inadequate access or structural weakness.
  • Loss of items mistakenly identified or authorized for removal.
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather or third parties.
  • Indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from website or service use.
  • Third-party platforms, payment processors or linked websites.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

17

Flooring Services

Epoxy and Garage Floor Coating Terms

Where Garage Guys provides epoxy, polyaspartic or garage-floor coating services, project timing, finish and performance may depend on:

  • Concrete condition and moisture levels.
  • Cracks, contaminants and previous coatings.
  • Temperature, humidity and curing conditions.
  • Customer colour and finish selections.
  • Required surface repairs and preparation.

Minor variations in colour, texture, gloss and decorative flakes may occur. Warranty terms, where offered, will be stated in the applicable written estimate or service agreement.

Customers must follow all curing, cleaning and maintenance instructions. Damage caused by misuse, moisture intrusion, structural movement, harsh chemicals, impact or failure to follow care instructions may not be covered.
